At Bloom Bar we take your health and safety seriously. Infection prevention and control requires proper training and utilization of Standard Precautions for proper client care. We make use of common sense practices and personal protective equipment to protect and prevent the spread of infection. We work by appointment only ensuring only client and practitioner are in the treatment room and adequate time is allowed to ensure cleaning, disinfection and social distancing between client visits. All clients are required to wear a mask and sanitize hands prior to entry and leave shoes outside at the door (sanitizer and masks are provided). We also require each client complete a COVID-19 Screening form and bring minimal belongings to their appointment. HEPA filter ensures contaminants are removed from the air during your services. Your practitioner wears gloves and a mask, uses disposable implements where possible and otherwise ensures proper cleaning and disinfection of other implementation. Fresh bedding and proper cleaning and disinfection of rooms is performed between each client.

Q - Is the treatment permanent?
A - No, this treatment generally lasts 6 to 8 weeks depending on your aftercare and natural lash growth cycle
Q - Can I wear eye contacts, mascara or eye makeup to my appointment?
A - No, please remove contacts and all eye makeup before coming in
Q - Can I wear mascara after a Lash Lift and/or Tint?
A - Yes, after the first 24 hours post appointment, however we do not recommend waterproof mascara and oil based makeup remover as they may weaken the lift.
Q - What should I use for cleaning my face after the lash lift?
A - Use mild cleanser. Do not use makeup remover.
Q - How long will the Lash Lift appointment take?
A - About 30 - 90 minutes, depending on your lash condition and services being performed
Q - How long will the curl last?
A - It will last around 6 - 8 weeks, depending on aftercare and your natural lash growth cycle. Hormones, growth serums, seasonal changes can affect your lash growth and reactions of the solutions used during treatment.
Q - How often can I repeat the Lash Lift?
A - Well, due to your natural lash growth and shedding the curl will begin to drop gradually, one lash at a time. If this process is quick for you, 4 weeks. Usually a lash lift will last 6 - 8 weeks
Q - I use my eyelash curler?
A - Eyelash curlers break off lashes so I don't recommend them, ever really
Q - Will I lose any of my lashes because of the lift?
A - No, however it is perfectly normal to lose up to around 4-5 lashes daily, it happens to all of us. New eyelashes will grow in place of old ones.
Q - Does the Lash Lift and/or Tint hurt?
A - No, however you may experience a little discomfort.
Q - Will I have skin irritation?
A - It's very rate for someone to have a reaction, but a little redness is normal and will go away after a couple of hours.
Q - Do you offer a Sensitivity Patch Test?
A - Absolutely! If you would like a sensitivity patch test, please don't hesitate to book this complimentary service at least 24 hours prior to your lash service.
Q - Can I wash my face after a lash lift and/or tint?
A - Yes, but stay away from the eyes (use a wash cloth). No water for 24 hours on the eye area (see aftercare instructions on this page)
Q - Can I use growth serums after a lift?
A - Yes, but it may affect your next lash lift as the lift tends not to hold as well with growth serum users. If you use growth serums please hold off three days prior to and after your service to re-start/continue
Q - Do I need an appointment?
A - Yes! I work by appointment only. If you would like to schedule a service please use the 'Book' button. Please no pets, friends, family members at the appointment. I have them, I love them but to serve you best we request you take this time for yourself with no other potential distractions. This is your time to relax and enjoy some TLC!
Q - Do I have to remove my extensions before my appointment?
A - Yes, please have them removed prior to your appointment. I do not remove extensions.
Avoid sources of heat the day of your lash lift and/or tint (sauna, facial, hot shower, working out, etc.).
To preserve your lift do not apply any oils such as baby oil, coconut oil, etc. on your lashes/brows as it could shorten the duration of your lift and/or tint. No makeup remover wipes. Use mild non-oily cleanser.
We recommend using regular or gel (clear) mascara daily, it helps to prolong the lift and really all you need to have your lashes looking beautiful, natural and lifted as long as possible.
